Our experience has taught us that a number of services are of central importance to successful learning. Consequently, the following services have been incorporated into our e-learning programmes:

• Involvement and guidance from an on-line tutor during the course
  
  The tutor helps to make the training activities more dynamic and plays a key role in creating and encouraging the growth of activities in the virtual communities.
• Course teaching by a training team consisting of an on-line tutor and an expert tutor
  
  This second tutor is an expert in the course content and his/her involvement in forums, chats and the virtual community is essential in guaranteeing that the course material is adequately assimilated by the trainees.

Our experience has also demonstrated the importance of establishing areas for social interaction where the trainees can create and generate knowledge through interaction with group members other than the tutor. This is crucial in ensuring that successful learning is accomplished and that full advantage is taken of what the course has to offer. For these reasons, making maximum use of communication tools such as forums, chats and virtual communities is the defining feature of our training programmes.

During all stages of the course, the tutor provides individual support and guidance to each trainee, issuing reports detailing and analysing information regarding progress. This is of considerable value to the client since it facilitates decision-making, the forming of conclusions and the detection of future training needs.
