Thermographic Report

print

Principal objectives

Preparation of a technical report indicating the following:

  • The exact location of the problem: the position of the “hotspot”.
  • The temperature difference between the hotspot and the benchmark area under normal temperature conditions.
  • Possible causes of the increase in temperature.

Service Characteristics

Infrared (IR) thermography is a technique which allows measurement of the surface temperature of different components by using a camera (thermal imager) to measure the natural emissions of infrared radiation from objects that have an increased temperature. As a result, a thermal picture can be produced to allow accurate analysis.
